“Bring back the fun!” was Dale’s comment to me this year when I noticed how alive the MPI Smart Monday space at IMEX18 felt. You may not know who Dale is but you have certainly experienced her inspiration and passion for our industry if you have experienced even one education session at IMEX. The Education team continually strive to deliver relevant and engaging content, and I would say – they succeed!

Each year Dale and the Education team at IMEX reimagine where the industry is going and how they can help us all get there. Over the years they have brought alive impact through sustainability, legacy, play and so much more. IMEX has bravely shown literally thousands attending the show how to be more thoughtful, inclusive and overall creative when planning their own meetings and events and takes risks in format, delivery and use of space to ensure we all leave richer for the experience.

With Dale I share the experience of raising children into teens, and the myriad joys and challenges this brings, and I appreciate how much she loves and appreciates the moments she has with family which are evident in our discussions, which always take place of course when we are away from our families. She is also immensely fun to hang out with, and even in the midst of a show always finds time to share conversations with everyone. If you see Dale lurking around the show, have a chat!
