There is always a smile when you see Daryl, and since he cannot help smiling, you cannot either. He has an appreciation for travel, water and any space people can experience something new. Daryl does not see the point of some things, like Sauvignon Blanc, or wasting time. Which is very different than whiling time away, and with a barbecue, good friends and a view to enjoy, he is all in to embrace time this way.

While going into any new country has its challenges, based in South Africa Daryl lives in a culture that can be particularly complex to navigate for an outsider, but with a lifetime doing this, Walthers has earned its place as a trusted resource for meeting professionals. For many, this is a bucket list destination, and one that you do want to have an insider’s view to.

Daryl has proven his passion for educating our industry and as our SITE VP of Education this year his great background in recovery, business processes and international planning will all work to support the development of content to get us all to the next stage.
