Kiki the Fab L’Italien

If you already know Kiki, you know she is generous, warm- hearted and laser focused on supporting associations, those communities built around shared vocations and interests whose members change the world one dialogue at a time.
Kiki is one of the few women I know who would arrive at an event (in this case EventCamp Vancouver many years ago) with only leopard pumps, also the perfect heel for running through airports. It just seems right. I believe she had forgotten shoes as she was packing with her nose in a book, her ubiquitous accessory.
Kiki spends a lot of time on camera, and she always looks terrific, which is probably why NBC included her in the tips on How to Zoom like a Boss this week. When she speaks is when the real magic happens. She is curious, endlessly so, and invites us all in to learn from the amazing guests she has on Association Chat asking warmly what we all want to know. Alternately when she is invited as a speaker at other events, she uses all her curiousity and continuously updated knowledge to deliver compelling keynotes and sessions that incite dialogue.
I find conversations with Kiki endlessly compelling, inspiring and challenging. It is in fact a conversation last week that has me writing again after an 18-month hiatus, and for this, I thank her. Get to know Kiki, you won’t be sorry!
