Brandt Krueger, Event Provocateur

Brandt loves many things – his family, playing in the band, and almost everything #eventtech, and like me, interviewing people who are smart and interesting. Throughout 2014 we had the weekly Event Alley show (with Lindsey Rosenthal) where we did just this, and Brandt then went on to the GatherGeeks podcast, and most recently you can hear “Big Voice Brandt” along with other fabulous hosts on the weekly #EventIcons. I am fortunate to have joined this great crew for 2018 and happy to be joining Brandt, along with Audrey, Will and Alex to keep talking with those movers and shakers changing our industry.

As I developed the book, I realized Brandt had exactly the perspective I wanted for the readers when it came to thinking about how we develop and deliver content in general sessions, and I stand by saying it is one of the best chapters in my book. His sense of realism, humour, and practical, practiced approach makes him one of the best educators we have out there as well – so if you see Brandt’s name on a meeting agenda – go see that session!
